What a fucking cringe fest, and don't even get me started on that Whitehall prick.

Re: BRIT awards
His son in law was just another step up the career ladder for them.

As I have stated a lot of these young girls need to spend a lot of time on their backs in the early parts of their careers because they have such little talent that it’s the only way they could have got where they are.

Pretty sure most of you are way, way too old to be watching this anyway.

There's always been a total lack of imagination from the people who organise the Brits. I attended it a few times in the past and it was utter cringe but it still worked as yhe advert.

Re: BRIT awards
Of course that's all it is, but can they not invite Damon Albarn next time please.

I did feel that because of all of the scrutiny around the Oscars being too white and #metoo, that they tried to tick all of the necessary boxes and it all came across a bit half arsed as a result. Still, at least James Corden was nowhere near it.

Re: BRIT awards
Its also an advert for the mainstream UK music industry. Its their award ceremony and they want to sell their wares. They do a pretty good job.

I spend most of my life outdoors Swiss, so it was nice to have a chance to sit down with my daughter to watch it with her. Doesn't stop me having an opinion on it though, you odd fish.

You do take things to seriously. It's just a vacuous TV show to have fun watching. I think Dua Lipa is very pleasing on the eye and really don't expect anyone cares what she says. if you think it's a party political broadcast then you really are sad.

Get out more you pathetic, miserable old git.

Stormzy seems like the Carlton of rap. Likable but ultimately a bit shit.

Re: BRIT awards
...and one other thing.

I saw that thick Bing Dual Lipa shouting about more women winning awards. Yeah, because no woman has ever won Best British Female before have they? What a fucking joey. Still, it won't be long before they start the MOFOs I'm sure, so they can win every award at that ceremony.

And who the FUCK was the confused looking woman who thanked everyone for showing their salad-ority with women?

Re: BRIT awards
Damon Albarn is a monumental cock. Making some glib, watery plea about Brexit and showing how right on he is with his multicultural and gender equal collective. All very well and good, but Gorillaz are fucking shit. They manage to stumble across one decent tune in every 40 and the rest is a fucking sorry mess.

There are plenty of British bands out there who could have been nominated that weren't even in the running. I'm no fan of Kasabian, but for one of the most popular bands in Britain not to even get nominated is a bit odd. I guess they are too male and white.

The selection of Albarn felt safe and lazy.

Dua Lipa is definitely easy to warm to.

This shitty grim music is all emperors new clothes. All the right on people were creaming their pants over Dizzie Rascal a few years ago, and Stormzy is the latest acceptable face for them to virtue signal off.

The real shit that teenagers are listening to especially in London is drill music. All about stabbing each other and drugs.

I warmed to that Dia Lupa though strangely enough

Re: BRIT awards
Stormzy is alright but it’s basically music for teenagers. There’s a lot worse out there.
